Continuing Education
CFA Institute is a registered sponsor with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), the CFP Board, the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), and the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA). We also offer our own Continuing Education (CE) Program for our members.
How to Get Credit:
CE Program credit: If you're a CFA Institute member, credit for the CE Program is automatically recorded in your CE Diary three to four weeks after the close of the conference.
CPE and CE credits: If you want credit for your CPA or CFP designation, you must request an attendance form at the onsite conference registration booth. Completed forms must be returned to the booth at the close of the conference. If you request CPE credit, you will receive an attendance certificate from us in the mail. If you request CE credit, you will receive notification from the CFP Board once the electronic list of attendees is processed.
IIROC credit: The 2009 CFA Institute Annual Conference will be submitted to IIROC for continuing education credit approval at the end of the conference. If you are interested in receiving CE credit from IIROC, you must complete an attendance form at the onsite registration booth and return it to the booth by the close of the conference. If the credit is approved by IIROC, you will receive accreditation documentation from us.
IMCA credit: Select conferences have been pre-approved by IMCA for non-IMCA CE credit hours towards the CIMA® designation. Designees who attend an approved conference are responsible for submitting the non-IMCA CE form to IMCA for review.
